Ralph will cop a plea right before the trial date and do one to three months plus probation, unless the DA is super pissed and not putting any offer on the table. I think this is why he’s already discussing going to jail and his plans - because he’s going to take a plea if he can get one.

All of Ralph’s braggart big mouth bravado is from booze or being behind a computer screen. He’s too much of a coward to show up sober and face the DA, judge and Vickers in his office casual fat boy pants knowing the evidence they have against him.

The DA might not want to offer him any decent plea deal though. Vickers is traveling to Virginia which tells me the DA has indicated he’s happy to go to the mat on this case because it’s a slam dunk that will help his stats. Whatever plea he’d offer Gunt probably isn’t much less than he’d get if found guilty, but Gunt might take it anyway to avoid having to face the music in person. He is a coward to his core.

No, there are some previous ones. It's still a pretty novel cause of action. Example: Sheehy v. Williams, a civil suit indirectly based on it. That said it would be a nice notch on a prosecutor's belt to nail Ralph with this. It has defending whammens, Internet shit, and all kinds of other fun moral grandstanding.

So I'm hoping he actually does want to nail this squealing pig to the wall, although I'm not expecting it.
