No, there are some previous ones. It's still a pretty novel cause of action. Example: Sheehy v. Williams, a civil suit indirectly based on it. That said it would be a nice notch on a prosecutor's belt to nail Ralph with this. It has defending whammens, Internet shit, and all kinds of other fun moral grandstanding.

Yeah, they might not even offer a plea deal given the circumstances of the case, it's not like it's going to be hard to prove his guilt.

As noted, if revenge porn prosecutions are relatively rare in Virginia there might be an assistant DA who wants to make a name for themself by taking down a SCAREE alt-right blabbermouth. The news in 2021 was full of alt-right leaders being btfo'd in court, and while this case isn't about Gunt's online rantings per se, it's a potential media goldmine for an ambitious DA on how they took down a twisted alt-righter who likes to lure 18 year old girls into sex so he can secretly vidya them and then put the result online.

And then there's Gunt's upcoming court date in Cali for the restraining order shit. Nevada County, California, is way up in the fucking Sierra mountains and is relatively based compared to the woketarded coast.
