It was almost immediately after they let it slip that they (essentially) let those kids in the discord try to pull that "doxx" slip and backfired. I'm assuming it's because since literally everyone and their mom called them out on condoning that behavior, so they changed urls to escape the heat.

I like how they try to spin it like they're the one making the joke about the poor grammar here, but it don't work. Especially with the implication that they pick what makes them cringe. But you don't chose. You either have some semblance of self-awareness, or you end up embarrassing yourself by looking like a fool to other people. It's second-hand embarrassment.

Because now that shit like Undertale and Voltron have run their course of popularity, these same kids came running to Jojo with the same shallow mindset and immense need to politicize everything they enjoy. This started more when Diamond is Unbreakable's anime started, where they started claiming that Josuke and Okuyasu were their gay babies for some reason, and it went downhill from there.
JoJo fans always seemed to be pretty chill and fun people before Tumblr discovered it.

They actually were back in the day; sure, there was the occasional snobbish "READ THE MANGA ASSHOLES" post that came with being a niche fandom, but it was still a relatively nice fandom with cool art, in-jokes, and actual discussion over the mechanics of stands/hamon/spin, etc.
There's actually a post roaming around nowadays that points out how it's always the folks in fandoms for stuff that's all-ages/meant for kids always pulling shit like doxxing and drama while those in some more adult oriented fandoms generally keep their peace and know how to fucking reign themselves in.
