Sometimes I get specially bad feels for jace. I really want to see him get on his meds and have a chill gaming lifestyle and not end up a homeless mumbling zombie.

there's not even any actual damage being done besides a bit of sperging on twitter and whining on livestreams. jace already believes muslims are out to kill him for "speaking too much truth". even if ivan hadn't started talking to jace, it wouldn't make any difference on jace's mindset and beliefs.

I believe that Jace seeks out people like ivan because they're supporting roles in his delusions. It's harder and less fun to be stryker when you have to make up your own enemies. Jace already has to look pretty far to find stuff to support his delusions that's why his shit is always so random and whacky, the dots he has to connect are few and far between. Some supervillians make it much easier.

Stryker is bad for jace and lots of fun for him and all of us. he wants to get worked up and spew one liners at ivan, ivan then pats himself on the back for being a master troll, when he's just telling someone who is hearing what he wants. If anything jace is trolling ivan. Tell jace what he wants to hear and he'll dance, hardest part is guessing what that is but it's not hard to be right at least most of the time as near as I can see.

This would all be hilarious to me and I'd consider it a win for all involved except pushing jace into his delusions will probably end sadly and I believe jace is capable of at least living out a chill life, maybe more, given the right things fall into place.

Sure, i knew this might not be popular and wasn't going to go back and forth on it anymore until dd moved it to it's own thread. also I recognize that ivan is a character and i have little chance of interacting with his actor but since other people seem to want to talk about it i'll talk even if it's mostly disagreement.

To clarify, I mainly made this thread to contain the crusade, not to endorse it.

I am pretty neutral on this. I'm certainly not going to censor anything, but there are places where it's more appropriate to talk about than others. Talk if you want to in here, but don't feel like you have to fill the thread. It's there if you want it, I'm just trying to create enough spaces for different discussions so they don't collide awkwardly.

I know my opinion doesn't really matter and that we're not supposed to get mad about trolls or the things they do to troll Jace, but I'm seeing points on both sides.

On his latest stream, I thought the entire "Oh god the Islams are killing me Jace destroy your koran" thing was kind of funny maybe the first three or so times, but it got unfunny pretty quickly when every other viewer with a keyboard decided to go all "Oh Jace help me the Islams are here" and got him all paranoid and shit. On the other hand, I think giving Jace a gentle push in the direction of chaos isn't really something that should be frowned upon, as long as it's a gentle push and not a smack in the face with a two-by-four. It's kind of like cooking, where if you don't add enough salt your meal will be flavorless, but add too much and it's going to overpower everything.

Again, my opinion doesn't really matter and I probably couldn't do any better, I've proven myself a shitty troll in the past, but I think maybe if people just used a little restraint things like streams would happen more frequently. He doesn't need to be scared shitless ALL the time.

Anyways, this thread is pretty stupid. Jace is insane, and he is going to partake in idiotic, potentionally life-threatening behavior whether trolls tell him to or not, as he has proven many times over. Don't be like and delude yourself that you can somehow "change" him or his lifestyle. Many people better than you have given him advice in times that he was less crazy than he is now, to no avail. You're not achieving anything, you're just ruining the fun for everyone else.
