Last year, the Citadel expansion started replacing the older, modular starbase system with the ability of players to build proper space stations of their own, which come in three sizes. Later, the Engineering Complexes, which are like citadels but geared more towards industry, were rolled out.

This October, CCP is completely revamping the way resources are extracted from moons by replacing another part of the starbase system with Refineries, the next iteration of the citadel system:

Just recently, the Circle of Two (CO2) alliance was dealt a massive blow after the higher-ups was caught red-handed threatening to go to someone's house and cut their hands off after said person stole an enormous amount of alliance goods and assets right from under their noses. Since griefing is legal in EVE but meatspace threats are not, the thief got off scot-free but the player making threats was permanently banned. A whole bunch of people showed up on Reddit to protest the ban, but then the proverbial can of worms was cracked open and a whole mess of allegations against the banned player poured out.

I've not seen the video through, but I've started reading patches765 stories on reddit. He was in a guild on another game the devs created, and got invited to beta test the game.

This dude number crunches like a bitch. Like help file gets read, mechanics learned, then it's to a spreadsheet to number crunch all sorts.

As such, he can take the most unethical of builds and destroy people.

Just now getting back into this game. I never believed people when they said you never truly quit but I can't find another game that has the same feeling and scale as EVE so I'm back playing spreadsheet simulator.

Just have to figure out how to make enough money to get back into fleet fits though...

Scamming is still probably the best source of early income. Skill injector sales were good but I only keep up with the salt now, not the economy.

My corp had one homosex, zero furfags, dozens of autists, and 2 PoC (rare for Eve). We even had a hawt Japanese Milf at one point (fucking flying Unicorn)
My various alliances had no trannies (but I'm sure those sickos would have LOVED one). My misc alliances had 3-4 furfags. These clowns were my first exposure to that mindset. Very bad.
If you are capable of normal interactions with people, good at computers, and ok in Eve - you can rule the universe. You can soak a group of people for billions a month, play free, fly the dankest ships, etc... At my peak, I would cyber with chicks offline, and get them to send me (legit) pics. One preggo sent me nekked pix. Another 20 something sent me a bunch of her gash and texted me filthy stuff. The Japanese milf sent me ONE pic of herself while costumed. She BARELY typed anything to anyone, and was eve-terrible.
Was an interesting ride.

I remember my friend telling us all the hot EVE online gossip at a boxing camp, intermixed with his own life stories of his ex girlfriend trying to frame him into having a baby that was not his, the two are now forever intermixed in my brain, is EVE online a game about gigantic space fleet cuckoldry warfare?
