Long Time listener, first time caller to the farms, and not sure what section to put this into. Came to say obsessive sports spergs are a great untapped reservoir of milk. And not just your stereotypical guy at the bar pounding beers kind, there exist hard core nerd forums centered, at least in theory, around specific sports. Best example I have ever seen is the comments section of everydayshouldbesarturday.com or EDSBS for short
How it works is every article that gets posted on the site, the comment setion becomes a forum for a couple dozen to hundred devoted commenters, and the fanshot section even more so, these often feature much better spergouts. Many users are cool and interesting leftovers from before the writers went full Tumblr, most of the rest are spergs and SJWs. These spergs run the gamut of lolcow behaviors: Powerleveling beyond belief, meme abuse, Tumblr style callouts and many angry spergouts. And not just over college football, they keep this going year round 24/7, with a dozen or so users on at almost all waking hours sperging and powerleveling away about largely nerd related crap.
What sets them apart from many of the other lolcow communities? Firstly, the site is run by a current or ex goon and twitter addict, Spencer Hall, as part of a site called SB Nation which has had many moments of extreme hipsterdom and lolcow behavior. Even there, EDSBS was once seen as a crowning jewel about five years ago, but has faded into obscurity as Spencer and the commentators have turned it into their personal hugbox.
So in short a community in the comment section of an obscure and highly obsessive sports site which houses at least 5-10 solid lolcows who give milk around the clock
