I'm late to this party, but Sibe is someone whom I actually have had extremely little contact with. Even years ago, before he started getting banned from conventions left and right, this winner was notorious for being a creep. The kind of person that people would talk about poorly when they weren't around. I've never met him (thank god), but I remember people talking about him at various parties/gatherings a long time ago, like last decade ago. Nobody had anything nice to say, at all. He creeped on people, that he smelled like shit (wonder why), the usual. The fandom hates him, or at least the people who are reasonable in the fandom want nothing to do with him at all. It's very telling that Rainfurrest was one of, if not the ONLY, conventions that hadn't banned him. And lo and behold, Rainfurrest is no more. 
But none of that matters sadly, because Sibe just feeds on this kind of bullshit. His reputation is 0 but he still is able to have swing with people because there are lots of furs whose standards are so low that Sibe manages to still pass them.
(Also RE: Twitter Followers, I could've sworn it was demonstrated somewhere that a vast majority of his subscribers were purchased. I distinctly remember seeing screencaps of page upon page of egg-avatared Russian bot accounts that were following him.)
