She's basically saying that HIV is no biggie these days. There is also another argument that if someone is taking their meds (PERFECTLY I might add) there is no HIV in their blood or fluids so it's unlikely but still possible they will pass it on, therefore it should not be criminalized. I'm skeptical most HIV positive people take their meds on the ideal regimen of the same time everyday without missing a dose.

This is one of those things that ideally, there wouldn't have to be any laws about this because people should be open and honest with their sexual partners to begin with, but people are terrible and will do things like purposely spread VD just because they are bitter assholes. If that behavior cannot be punished by the law, then that puts a greater number of people in danger, thus necessitating a law.

I'm sympathetic to the argument but I don't think it's very realistic to approach it that way.

Some friends of mine went to a furry con one year and made the mistake of inviting along a babyfur that they thought was decent. Turned out he made the entire con experience miserable and paraded around in diapers the whole time, even after giving the initial impression to the people who were now rooming with him that he knew better than to wear diapers in public. And also he just generally acted like a cunt.

The final straw was on the last day of the con, when the group was traveling home, everybody else fed up with this guy, and the dude shat his diaper in the car. Everyone noticed the smell. They knew exactly what it was.

The driver immediately pulled over and kicked him out on the side of the road with all his luggage, and drove off, never speaking to him again and never answering his calls, texts, emails and IMs.

That's fucking why nobody, not even furries, like babyfurs.
