In it, Phil's life story (as told by Phil) up to 1996 is quoted. It's probably not that reliable -- especially since he lied right from the start by claiming his birth name is "Felipe Delicias."

It wasn't a merit-based scholarship, I can tell you that much. If I recall correctly, he didn't graduate high school until his early twenties.

IIRC, he was nineteen when he graduated high school.

I know that Phil got kicked out of college for uploading the "anime OC shoots McCain in the head" picture, but how did he get into college in the first place? As I recall correctly, it was a community college but on a scholarship. Did he do well in high school and/or was particularly economically disadvantaged?

He was affiliated with the special needs office at school. I think I remember hearing he was attending under the auspices of the state Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. I'd say I'm about 95% certain.

I have in the past reached out to more than a few people to try and get more details about a event and been given information that they themself got as embellished or wildly innacurate versions of events, often directly from Phil or some one at a time who would have backed up Phil. Also the people from Phil's past tend to have sour taste in there mouth whenever his name get's brought up and are more than a little willing to twist the knife a bit when recounting events and you have to read between the lines and cross reference things with other sources to get a more accurate outline of whats happened. This has lead to some frustration on my part because when you get info from the primary source that's not trust worthy, and problematic secondary sources you have to do a awful lot of fact checking an cross referencing especially when it's Phil former friends giving you that information.

FWIW I hope I've been reasonably straightforward in my interactions around the board, even if it's no secret I've reached the point where I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire. When I'm actually describing an incident I've witnessed, I try to be as objective and sincere as possible- and I usually consult with one or two other people who were there, to try and ensure accuracy, before posting. If you're ever concerned about my authenticity, by all means, please ask me to clarify the objective truth for you.

What about the divorce of his parents? When did that happen? Was there someone more sympathetic, or was it no-fault? I've heard some snippets of info, like a letter to the editor regarding custody and how the whole "Daddy Rape Day" wasn't created solely on ADF's mind, and other things?

As mentioned, while the Angelo chat reveals several interesting things about Phil that he'd never admit, it's suspected that Angelo embellished a few things to take a few shots at his ex-wife. There's probably a second side to that story, of course.

What we know is the divorce was bitter, and we've seen letters to newspapers from both sides claiming the other was unfit to parent and should not have custody. Both Phil and his brother were very much wanted by their parents at that stage in their lives.

Well... we don't know exactly what went down with Mom-n-Dale last summer. He claimed they were 100% Stepford-parent supportive, but then left Philadelphia days early because of their "transmisogyny." So whether he was thrown out or chimped out will probably be a large factor as to whether they would welcome him back. Not sure about Angelo; all indicators are that he seemed deeply wounded by Jackie's attempts at keeping him away from their boys. My gut feeling is that either parent would be overjoyed at a reunion, but Phil would do his best to ruin any such meeting, without even trying.

He's been spouting variations of it for a long time and I think it was at least in part started by his mother during the custody battle, and I think angelo is aware at least in part of its existence but writes it off as part of Phils mental health problems.

Way before Phils dad was fighting for custody for a long time, Phil started at wawa in his very late teens, I'm not near my laptop at the moment but if you look in my yaoi gallery dump in the last post you can see the exact date and reasons for him resigning.

There is also a early version of daddy rape day in there as well, if you cross reference it to the other versions and what he was enamoured with at the time you can track its progression and how the original details have become fuzzy to him over time.

I never really looked into Phil before. I saw him referenced on the CWCki but from the teeny snippet of him I assumed he was just a dramatic cow flailing around.
