yes it is a status symbol.
1. no one really uses ipods
2. it's cracked (and by the look of chris's it's smashed)

so, cracked + ipod = low status (clumsy oaf with unnecessary "outdated" technology)

Ha, no, that'll never happen. He might be taking a break because he's temporarily aware of the fact that despite his railings over the months, no trolls have yet gone to prison - but that particular reality is unpleasant, so his awareness of it will reverse itself soon enough.

I'd believe you if it weren't for the fact that Chris is nothing without his problems. He needs something to constantly complain about, and since he's no longer a "virgin with rage," presumably, he has to bitch about how the trolls and Megan have ruined his life forever.

What pisses me off is how Anna and Kim enable and encourage it.
