I noticed that Chris posted a new facebook status. It's a film review (Cole just became obsolete).

After I read it, I told him about Anonymous, and their actual goals, but he wouldn't hear of it. I pointed out his logical fallacy in calling Anonymous the "central hub of the trolls" and got a reply.

It's tragic knowing that the people who actually care about his well-being are people he considers his mortal enemies. Barb and Rocky have been enablers of his behavior, and now his behavior is including mentions of suicide. That can't continue.

Yes, Chris, poor widdle you! It's not like you doxxed yourself, or failed to listen when people tried to white knight for you and warn you about trolls, or consistently failed to apply any sort of critical reasoning to ANYTHING you ever did online. It was totally everyone else, wasn't it? Couldn't have had anything to do with all the shit you willingly uploaded and sent to strangers.

Yes, and I suppose a manchild who lives in his room playing vidya all day every day would know all about the impact of trolling on suicide rates. There have been instances of people committing suicide as a result of online bullying, usually by people they know outside of the internet, but most people who commit suicide do not do so as a result of being bullied online by strangers.

I don't believe he's suicidal, per se, but Chris generally doesn't pull novel concepts from thin air. He's just not that creative. If he's talking about suicide, it's apparently on his mind. To be blunt, there's not a lot of space in there, so I give significance to any concept that shares the spotlight with McDonald's and Tomgirling.

Also, "suicide" is one of those trigger words... something where people overreact and try to help someone "just in case", because if you miss the warning signs, you don't get a second chance to help them. And although Chris has had dozens of opportunities for help online, he's never really had someone try to pull him back from the abyss in his real life.

I doubt Chris would actually kill himself. Even though his life sucks and he knows it, his ego is still very big and that will likely never change. Honestly, any attempt at suicide would probably be accidental rather than intentional.

I don't think he's suicidal, he's just talking about highschool suicide rates, probably heard it on the news or something.

Aside from the creative premise and cool looking killer it's pretty shit. It takes a unique premise and turns it into a cliched slasher which, quite frankly, doesn't fly in horror nowadays.

Also his idea of showing the movie in high schools is absolutely absurd. Lets ignore the fact that showing an R rated movie without any merit (ie Schindler's List, Glory, etc) won't fly with school boards. I don't see how this is film can be considered either educational or even a rainy day, time killer movie.

Also he incorrectly used the term spoiler alert. What he did was poorly describe the plot not actually spoil anything. The info he gives can easily be discovered by either watching the trailer or reading any review.

EDIT- Apologies if this comes of as A-loggy. I take movies (particular genre cinema) overly seriously.

Some of us watched the movie last night. I'm pretty sure it is the worst film that has ever been made. I'd rather watch Uwe Boll's entire filmography than this shit.
