Unfortunately had some things crop up and kill what free time I had the last few days, and the next couple of days are my longer shift days, so probably won't be able to get anything substantial done until this weekend. So, consider this a 20 minute conciliatory post until then.

The perfectly fitted quotes from both Sin City and Chris-Chan videos are just....(/chef's kiss) Magnifique! Not to mention Silvie's evil face she put on in the last panel befor Sonichu fucks her shit up. GodBear DAMN @_blank_ , there is absolutely no rust on your skills in both drawing and writing from your enforced layoff. Most kickass, number one.

I've been kicking around the idea of hopping back into the main TRS storyline and wrap up the MLW chapter, but I know that would also put this (already superbloated and rambling) Sin Sonichu yarn on the backburner, so I don't know if I'd be doing much more than trading one story for another. I've also been thinking about maybe doing it half and half, like one part of the week dedicated to the main yarn, and the other to Sin Sonichu, but it's essentially a guarantee that I would hit weeks like last week where I end up working 28 hours in a 48 hour window and the rest of the week is scrubbed...

tl;dr - honest question all y'all dudes of all teenages; as well as the gals: Would you prefer I put this Sin Sonichu yarn on the backburner and get back to Mary?

Depends on how much more you have to write for each, I suppose. Better to let the story evolve naturally.

Either way, don't rush one for the sake of the other.

That's mostly me being a idiot and feeling like I need to cover everything, which has been the biggest bane of this entire run. Originally I had planned for this is to be a quick 16-20 page in-and-out like Sin Sonichu 1 and 2, but the more I developed the story, the more things I realized I "needed" to cover. And eventually I realized the idea of just doing a quick-cut bailout ending would be a disservice to the rest of the work put in.

And yes, I do realize I am still talking about a fancomic about fucking Sonichu. This is my madness.

I figure shortly after this storybeat, I can jump into the endgame of this yarn, but how long that endgame goes no idea. Hoping within the next few months..?

However if you are going to insist, I'd say go with the momentum and finish this Sin Sonichu story. MLW has waited this long, she can hang fire a little while longer. Let SS complete fully rather then something you will feel like you have to go back to after switching to the MLW story. Either way It's an immediate bright spot in my day when I see that you've posted on this thread, so let it work out the best way for you.

The problem with continuing the third Sin Sonichu story is that the flashback story seems to have become the main focus and completely shafted the framing story (the mental issues with Magi-chan after everyone gets stuck in the Time Void), not too unlike what happened with Chapter 3 (which went for much longer than the previous 2 combined without actually fully covering the thing it was set up to cover). Not to mention there's other plot elements going on in the main story set up in the first Sin Sonichu story that have yet to pay off. Also the original setup for the MLW story was Rosechu going berserk, and that was back when the comic was being done in Crayola Magic Marker.

tl;dr fuck sin sonichu, continue the main story line

Seems kind of pointless to tell you to finish what you started, eh. I'm a big fan of Sin Sonichu and I like where this story is going, but if you want to continue the main storyline instead, I'm happy either way.

Also, I kind of want to put this little fucker on a T-shirt. Something about those eyebrows appeals to me. Do you want me to toss you some money for it? Just one shirt for personal use.

I like Sin Sonichu because the noir aesthetic feels just "right" with your dialogue, dark sense of humor, and attempt of taking a realistic spin on characters with superpowers yet childish intellect. The grim yet silly character designs are at their best here.
However, I do feel like you're starting to retread some story elements. It was cool seeing Dagget's origin story, Magi's relationship with Silvia, and Bob. But we don't really need to see more of Rosechu losing herself, we got plenty of that with the part where Spunky revealed she was pregnant, we don't need to see more of the Chaotic Combo's darker side when we've seen enough with Bubbles.
And getting build-up to Bob's plans is odd right now because we've seen zero mention of him so far in the main story.
Like I said, I like Sin Sonichu, it's given me some of my favorite panels in the comic, like these

I think you need to take a step back and ask yourself "how much of this information is really necessary and what can I just show in the main storyline?'.

Going to be wrapping up this present scene, then heading back to the main canon, with Sin Sonichu popping up in the weekend slots. Sin Sonichu Sundays, I dunno.

Every parody Sonichu comic seems much better than the shit that it's based on. I guess people have to thank Chris for the inspiration if nothing else.

(The original Sonichu comics basically make me think of something that a serial killer would have scribbled in their diary while awaiting the day of their execution).
