I’ll try to keep this brief: over the past two to three months or so I have been working on a project to do with everyone’s favourite sperg and his many, many, many demented creations. Housebound of course involves Sonichu, but as the title probably implies this also involves the infamous 14 Branchland Court – something of which I don’t think anybody’s done a story with yet. I guess you could say this is my take on Chris’s deluded world(s) in the same manner that @_blank_ has with TRS. I also understand if you guys think this is a stupid idea, but you don’t know if others will like it unless you try.
Housebound is what one might call an “interactive experience” similar to that of Bogleech’s Awful Hospital (with more action and hopefully less exposition). Of course there’s an overarching plot and most of the options presented to you readers to take either have to do with plot relevancy or world-building, but overall I intend for this to be a fairly flexible experience. Update times will definitely vary depending on the type of update I'm working on – it could take a week, or several weeks depending on how complex or detailed the art/animations have to be.
Btw this is a psychological/survival horror thing so there’s gonna be some edgy shit as well as flashing colours for those of you who have epilepsy. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
So with that out of the way, let’s begin, shall we?
-----
You awaken to find yourself in what you think could be a shed. The air is musty and there are many cardboard boxes stacked together.
You groan and rub your eyes. Your chest feels very heavy - like someone’s attempted to crush it with two huge stones. How the fuck did you get here? Were you kidnapped? Did you get so drunk last night that you somehow broke into and crashed in some poor stranger’s shed for the night? You can’t seem to remember no matter how hard you try. Your head feels really fuzzy.
But as you ponder you can’t help but feel that staying in this place and waiting for someone to find you would be a bad idea.
