That's fair enough so based on your comment, I tried one more time with the design and made sure to keep it more faithful with the design while changing the things I still wanted to change with the original design. I know my main issue with drawing is overkilling stuff, color inconsistent and some anatomy issues so I have to keep them into consideration to be a better artist. The redesign is worse.
Much better! I made sure to keep this one more simple and to still play around with line-weight by only using the line tool this time. Along with the fact that I took too long in the 1st drawing and regretted that decision of investing too much time in it. There's still some things I need to improve on with the new version too (like the guitar and some line weight issues) but hopefully this is an improvement to the 1st one I did.

Thank you for very muchMuch better! The arm does seem a bit noodle-y but overall a great improvement.
Love the shoes. Both originals they looked kinda awkward and out of place but in your version they fit in. Adding more detail and sunset background colors made not to pop too much while stll bein point of interest. Really the shiny effects on clothes in general look nice and make clouds look more fluffy. The pig tails look nice, cloud crunchies and letting the ends free make them look more like hair without taking away abstract visuals out.I saw this in the SJW art thread and just...I love the design, but the "new" version is so bad. It takes this cute, flirty rainbow woman and makes her look like a fat whore with clown eyelashes. Those weird-ass 2 foot eyelashes are cancer. I did like parts of the new one, like adding sparkles everywhere and making the pigtails come out of clouds at the top of the head, so I didn't change a LOT, I just...made her not a morbidly obese 800 pound goblin with eyelashes that could take flight.
Thank you!! The thick legs into the tiny shoes were really fun to do. I think what made the originals kinda flop was they both gave the shoes too much visual weight and broke the silhouette. The second one did it better, but still made them stubby and heavy. I tried to make sure they kept with the line of the ankle/calf (cankle lol) and I think it paid off. And I'm so glad you like the sparkles/shines!! It's always fulfilling when the glitter comes out right. I was really proud of the shines on the dress.Love the shoes. Other hand the face isn't working for me, it just look bit too awkward. Expression is nice and flirty, and make up look fine but it has anatomical issues. The chin is too close to the neck when looking the nose and mouth line. Also the chinline is not joining with the ear and that's making the chin look deformed. How strong the eyebrows are, witch look fine by themselves, I think you needed more forehead and hair detail to balance the area out. While I like sun and moon earrings, the moon should have bern yellow too. This being the only grey part just look kinda out of place.
Hopefully you aren't offended but I did a redraw of the face. I followed pretty much what I said in my previous comment but left the moon earring alone and gave her DreamWorks eyebrows. Don't know why, kinda just felt like it. So that part isn't critique or anything, just my own weirdness. Regardless hope you like it.Thank you!! Yeah, the face got kinda smushed down into the corner of the head, I see what you're saying about the chin and ear. I was trying to emulate the first pic's sort of "baby" head, but it just didn't work. I think I could've put the ear lower, too, fixed that a little better. And yeah, the earrings were a swing and a miss. I thought the moon might match the shading on the coat, but eh. Ah well. Next time!
Holy shit, I'm not offended at all. That looks great!! And THANK YOU for fixing the hair in the main part of the head, I just...I made the sketch too small to comfortably draw the hair texture inside the head, so I lazied out and made it just stripes. i wanted to joinHere's my personal take on redesigning Puppychan's "Pokio". Added some things & redistributed colors.
they fucked up his neck so bad he looks decapitated. Floating head syndrome or somethingSomehow, despite constantly crying for their definition of "racial justice and equality," it's too hard for tumblr to not make black people look stereotypical.

I tried to use some of my own art style without deviating too much from the character's original art style. This is Darnell from the Pico series, if you didn't already know.

That's what happens when an artist copies cartoons rather than study the real world.they fucked up his neck so bad he looks decapitated. Floating head syndrome or something
