Eh, it looks bad, but not horrific. I don't see any major water damage, for example. Much more than an idiot like Eric can handle, but I can see why someone with money and competence would want to try and restore it. It'd most likely be cheaper to start from scratch, but the house looks kinda vintage.

I am also not a carpenter, but I live in a high-flip area and have seen houses in similar condition be turned into something really nice. Costs a lot more, but the high property values allow it to pay off, which probably doesn't apply to where Eric lives.

There is property for Richard Eric Hites but unless Eric got a mortgage when he was a teenager, it's not his. I think his uncle shares the same name.

Not only did he buy a lemon house, but apparently he also bought a lemon truck. And the lemon truck is nearly non-functional.

Yet another fantastic display of how his narcissism poisons his life at every turn. A normal person in their 40 has already learned that buying a high-mileage vehicle at a low price is a false value that causes more difficulty and expense in the long run. Yet here's Eric on Facebook literally crying about how unfair this situation is. A situation that he completely brought upon himself. A situation that could've been avoided if he ever took a moment to go "hmm, this seems too good to be true. perhaps that means it is."

Between broken down houses and broken down motorhomes and broken down trucks and broken down schemes to fix his life, he's always ready to take on a project where the odds are terribly stacked against him, because he has zero sense that he's capable of failure, because he's so stunningly, unjustifiably arrogant.

Kudos to him for actually working for a change, but I couldn't help but notice he had some new toys. I looked over the various photos he took of his setup and did some cursory Googling to get a rough idea of what these things cost:

Pyle PMXU88BT mixer - $160
Pyle PTA1000 amp - $120
Pyle foldable DJ screen - $120
Peavey PR15 speaker pair - $350

It’s hard to tell what kind of rack he has, but you can see that it's on casters, and the most basic ones I can find in that size with wheels start around $250

The PC he’s using looks like an antiquated pile of shit, so there’s a fair chance it was just something he already had lying around and hopefully he paid zero dollars for it.

Other stuff that’s unaccounted for: microphone (couldn’t get a good look at it), XLR cables, power strips and extension cables, and all of his gimmicky lighting crap

There's really no way of telling how much he actually paid for any of this ... maybe he got it all secondhand at a deep discount. Or maybe he bought it all brand new and overpaid.

It's possible he mentioned all this gear in one of his recent live feeds. I don't watch those, they're boring and annoying. Anyone have some insight?

No specific insight but if you work for a "DJs for Events" company - they give/loan you the equipment typically. All you need in that case would be a car big enough to haul it around.
