Fate of the Megatron Pistol - the rescue of a relic

I feel I should finally post this especially now on the 100th Anniversary of Bloody April where i was highly successful, I have had this relic in my possession since late last year and have hesitated posting it for fear that my Copilot could get doxed as he performed the transaction however its not impossible that the info has been lost since this was a private transaction and not through ebay, however regardless Chris no longer has this item, it was partially melted in the fire however not destroyed, in fact Chris even found the original box and several of the attachment pieces before sending it out to my amazement, it even still fires and Chris included the projectiles for it (the red pellets in the "bloody fapcup" picture) i was even more shocked to find the original receipt for this item was still in the box and it was purchased from The Game Place! anyway he appears to have paid $94 for it i ended up paying $50, anyway i didnt buy it to troll with or anything just to add to my curio collection however i figured i should post the info here so knowledge on this relic could be updated accordingly, heres some photos i took i will take more if requested and have full proof to back up my story

had a pretty funky odor when i opened up the package, cant really put my finger on what it was but once it was bathed in disinfectant it was better, still wash my hands after handling it though

I always thought the pistol was something he had since a kid. Like, Chris manage to hold on to a collectible G1 Transformer for years in a decent shape. Looks like an import he bought when he was in high school. Disappointing, but makes more sense. More than meets the eye.

As a general note, always send money via paypal as a 'business' rather than a friend unless it's actually a friend. If you don't choose business, none of the buyer protection clauses apply to you will automatically lose any dispute you try to open if the person tries to scam you.

yea very true, this pilot has been burnt by the Royal Flying Corps before by that exact same thing,not sure about my copilot but thankfully though this gamble worked

I'm not only surprised by that text exchange but by the fact that he kept the original receipt.

And yeah, that price is... well, I'm not sure that it's that 'reasonable' for a burned toy missing parts but it's certainly not "$1500 for paper mache no haggle" levels of unreasonable that I would have expected.

I still prefer the videos where he's threatening people with a toy gun instead of throwing transformers in kitty litter though .

I had previously made a comment that it was unlikely that Chris kept the Megatron box and accessories and now I guess I was wrong.

I also think we can see why Chris's room has become so full of empty boxes. With the amount of toys that Chris has on display, if he is keeping the boxes and receipts and stuff, then that is a whole lot of junk to store.
