My favourite Anal Cunt songs are the ones that sound like they were written by a horny 12-year old with Attention Deficit Disorder.

A good example would be 'Dictators Are Cool', which begins as a list of dictators, accompanied by a one-line summary of their activities, but then gradually wanders off topic, as Seth Putnam recalls the time that Dick Manitoba, from the proto-punk band - The Dictators, grabbed his girlfriend's tits. He goes on to remind listeners that Mark Mendoza was in Twisted Sister.

Another classic is 'If You Don't Like The Village People, You're Fucking Gay'.

Putnam was apparently a massive fan of The Village People and uses this song to bring to public attention the influence that the band exerted upon the death metal scene, in terms of vocal style and on-stage attire.

Having pointedly reminded everyone that "All death metal songs were ripped off from Village People / Evil dead" by Death is actually "Liberation" from the Village People," Putnam branches out into other areas of belief that may signify that a person is "fucking gay."

These include:

1. Anyone who thinks that "rape is wrong."
2. Anyone who thinks that "the holocaust wasn't funny."
3. Anyone who thinks "of Hellhammer as the drummer of Mayhem."

As an addendum, may I mention that, whatever anyone thought of them, Anal Cunt always played hard. Also, 'Fuckin A' (produced in the wake of Putnam's crack, heroin, alcohol and Ambien-induced coma) is an unironically great album.

Most memorable to me have always been "I Went Back in Time and Voted For Hitler" and "Chris Barnes Is a Pussy." I have no idea why, but the former is a brilliant satire of democracy and the latter tells you that Cannibal Corpse and Six Feet Under are kinda shit.

I always liked how they managed to turn a classic Cannibal Corpse tune into a diss track about how Chris Barnes' breath smells like cum and how he likes dicks up his ass.
