just realized the only movie i've seen this year is spider-man: enter the spider-verse and it was literally today :/ so i guess it's that, the animation in that movie is amazing

Deadpool 2 because I am a trash baby with no taste. Also it was one of the few films I watched this year, so not much competition.

When I go to the movies, it's to watch horror movies or movies that have horror elements, so I can't say anything about any other genre. I have yet to watch Suspiria, Annihilation and Mandy (unfortunately they weren't exhibited at the local cinema), but Hereditary was my favorite film this year. What an amazing, emotional, visceral experience.

All the others I watched (like Predator, The Meg, The Nun and JW: The Fallen Kingdom) were disappointing and I felt ripped off, even though I paid half price to watch them

Solo: A Star Wars Story. The fembot is my favorite Star Wars character to date.

It really wasn't the best year for movies (At least the one's I've seen which admittedly isn't a lot of them), Isle of Dogs was pretty good I guess.

The only movie I remember seeing in the theater this year was "A Quiet Place", and it was pretty decent.

I just don't really give a shit about movies anymore.

A Star is Born because I love Gaga.

Hereditary, Infinity War, and Won't You Be My Neighbor were the only good films I think I saw this year. It felt like a weak year in films overall.

Hereditary was my favorite, though i didn't see very many.

 

[Block Me]

Mary Poppins Returns. Emily Blunt is great and the songs are both really catchy and actually advance the plot instead of just grinding it to a halt for some song-and-dance. Also has some surprisingly good performances from the kids.

A little known film that goes by Twisted Pair. BlackKKlansman was also pretty good.
