Favorite Pokemon? -

Let's all gush about our favorite Pokemon!

I'll go first. I've always loved Growlithe and Arcanine and I raise one in every game that they're in. One of my pride and joys is a shiny Arcanine I named Tycho, whom I raised from a level 30 Growlithe into a level 100 Arcanine.

I'm also a big fan of the Eeveelutions, to the point where I raised all eight of them to level 100. I'm not one for competitive battling so I basically spend a lot of my time in the post-game raising Pokemon that I like, haha. Thanks to the Friend Safari and a male Pokemon with Cute Charm, they're all female and most of them have their hidden abilities.

Forgot to mention this, but I'm also a huge fan of Ampharos. It's such a great, versatile Pokemon. In every game where Mareep is available, I make sure to catch one as soon as I can and raise it to be my Electric-type team member.

As I mentioned in the Holden thread, I'm not familiar with pokerman after generation IV. But if I had to pick a current favorite, I'd say Articuno. You can even set up a cheap "mind reader sheer cold roost" combo.

Also, as I said in a thread started by sanic (not the hedgehog, the Kiwi), it's best adapted for high altitude flight, which is something I like. The blue color apparently acts as a sunscreen (there's more UV at higher altitudes), hail doesn't effect it (there's hail at higher altitudes), and of course it's freezing up there - which it has no problem with.

I may play the games now and then nowadays, but I guess I've lost interest in the monsters of the pocket over the years. I remember when it was a huge fad in the West over 15 years ago.

I love these little assholes so much. Favorite Pokemon since Gen 4, finally hatched a shiny on my Y version last year.

The rest of my top 5 are Scrafty, Goomy (♂ only), Vileplume, and Banette.

Haha, sorry, most of my recent Pokemon experiences have been through twitch because I don't have a DS. So, most of my posts about Pokemon will be kinda twitch-based.

I love many, many pokemon. But one will always be at the top of my list.

Hell yes. I don't even care if its ability is crap. I wanted a proper raptor pokemon ever since I was eight years old. I got one and wasn't disappointed. It helps that this thing is a beast in battle, even despite the ability. Flying Gem Acrobatics absolutely wrecks shit.

I've been playing the games since I was a kid (back in the days of Red and Blue) so I may or may not have a lot of favorites. Like a shit ton more than any human should reasonably have. So to keep myself from going completely apeshit, here's my top favorite from each Generation:

• Gen I: Lapras
• Gen II: Typhlosion/Cyndaquil line
• Gen III: Aggron/Aron line
• Gen IV: Leafeon
• Gen V: Emboar/Tepig line
• Gen VI: Amaura and Aurorus

Ironically my favorite 'mons are amongst the type that I use least often.

My favorite pokemon is Gliscor.

The little dude stole my heart when I had him in my Soul Silver, and with the Poison Heal ability he got a permanent spot as my all time fav.

Hands down, my favourite is the bulbasaur line. I love them all equally.

I also love Steelix and Quagsire. I found a wild shiny Quag in X purely by chance. I'll post a picture of my shiny Venusaur from Pearl later on. He has shitty moves because I don't use him in battle but he's still awesome. He has almost perfect IVs too.
