I'm just amazed that OPL is showing even a modicum of gratitude (granted it's SEND MOAR) but he seems somewhat thankful for people's generosity.

It so obvious that he keeps asking for target and walmart cards so he can waste them on hoard shit. Usually after a disaster, the best thing is to get grocery giftcards, since a gorcery also sells toiletries, etc. Usually people volunteer to cook and take over meals, but we all know about Barb and Chris' talent for making friends.

This isn't so bad, in my opinion. The costs associated with losing their house must be phenomenal. All he's doing is updating people, expressing his gratitude and letting people know that they're still accepting donations.

To be honest, asking for gift cards rather than outright money is a bit more polite, in my opinion.

but it seems that Barb really did love that hoard more than Chris or Bob ( God rest his soul).

I mean when faced with the choice between her ailing husband's health and hygiene and the hoard, she chose her beau the hoard without a second thought.

Good chance that no renovations are being done and it's just being torn down. Chris is just using the word renovate because it's something that can be done to a house and anything that can be done must be a renovation, according to how Fatty's mind works.
