The main purpose of the comic was to parody the hatred Chris had for homosexuals years ago. Chris missed the entire point. Chris, an author who once wrote a book about poisoning all the world's drinking water with the cure to homosexuality, is against a book about killing homosexuality.
Also, he killed Simonla. He did so in a half-arsed and resentful way, yes, but he had the courage and decency to comply with another's reasonable request and remove that character permanently from the series.
