South Park has somewhat gone by the wayside for Trey and Matt ever since Book of Mormon became a hit.

They've even admitted in recent interviews, IIRC, that they don't put as much effort into South Park as they used to with the success of Mormon.

Well, happy thanksgiving guys. I'm a britfag so I don't celebrate thanksgiving but it is my daughters 3rd birthday so I'm celebrating that. (Wife flat refused to let me call her Crystal for some reason) Anyway, happy turkey day or.. something

I don't know what Book of Mormon is but when I quit watching South Park (like 2 or 3 years ago now) the formula was pretty simple: take popular franchise or topical event, somehow intersperse a joke about gay sex or butts or periods or something, and have the main characters somehow involved with it. I always found it weird that Chris would enjoy it, especially if he watched the seasons I had on DVD, where it was mostly puerile shock humour and parodies of current events.

The rest of the of the family is in Austin, I'm stuck here watching the house 'cause I have work Friday evening and definitely wouldn't be able to manage the traffic coming back. At least some of my family dropped in last night to rest en route to their own Thanksgiving. I made fudge, gave 'em half for them and theirs.

I have not been this lonely in a long time. You cool kids have a hell of a time with your family and friends, 'cause it's quietly staving off madness in this abode.
