The house has no plumbing, no electric wiring, no hot water heater/furnace/air conditioning installed, no walls, no insulation, no ducting of any type, no fixtures of any type, and the flooring is still bare plywood.
It's literally just the naked 2X4 framing with bare concrete on the lower floor and plywood for the upper floor. Does that sound like it will be livable by Christmas?

That was 4 days ago. The builders have another 2 1/2 weeks. I guess we know the new floor plan: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a whole lotta hoard.

Looks like Barb holding up the restoration of the house for all those months is really going to fuck them over. The only improvement they'll have over living outdoors is they won't be snowed (or rained) on. And even that may not be a given if the company they're using is as dubious as first implied.

Do we know if Charb has been back to 14 BC since the fire? Do they know anything about it's condition right now? Or are the builders just saying "Fuck it, close enough," and letting them back in?

Maybe the builders intend to get all the electric/plumbing/etc worked out in ~2 weeks and leave the floors/painting/everything else for Charb to do themselves. I think we can guess how well that scenario will go. =/

Just imagine all of the money Chris has used in the last few months on Sailor Moon, anime, legos, Skylanders, vidya and taint piercings that could have been stored up for the move. They could be able to store the hoard for a little while longer and live out of at least a motel room until January or February, I'm sure. But instead, Chris just needed those Lego Friends sets to build his imaginary high school, and he just needed LittleBigPlanet3 and the Lego Movie video game (twice), and he just needed to buy those Sonic Boom toys to protest Sonic Boom. I'm sorry, I hope the best for him and Barb as they attempt to relive Valley Forge this holiday season, but when there was so much Chris could have done to prepare and act responsibly when it comes down to the health and welfare of himself and Barb and he squanders it all on entertainment, then my well of holiday benevolence has run dry from the Chandlers. May it be a mild winter in Virginia.

I believe Barb was making Chris haul all her shit out and throw it into plastic bins months ago, and he also took that photo of the melted lego school inside his old room.

Sources say no, but we don't have hard confirmation of that.

I do hope the house is at least bare minimum. It's going to be rough going through winter in Virginia without heat or insulation, if the above report is true.
