This epitomizes Chris. 34 years old and he's never had the thought of "Hey, maybe my life is miserable because I keep looking for happiness at McDonalds" or "Maybe no one sees value in me because I haven't given myself any value." He's been waiting for a lucky break ever since he won the Sonic sweepstakes. Give an autistic kid $1000 for nothing and they'll think that sort of thing is just what happens to them because they're "special," but to be honest this notion was probably reinforced by his mother.
His "proposition to Sega" is the latest in a long string of attempts to demand a lucky break because it's not happening naturally anymore.
