Why would that band have Chris do their art? They seem to be a Japanese band; how would they even know about CWC? Why does the drawing itself actually look fairly decent? (aside from the fact that he scrawled his name on it)

They say that many of the greatest artists did their best work during a time of emotional turmoil. And considering what has happened to Chris in 2014, combined with his already unenviable past and future, he has pretty potent emotional well that he can draw from.
Granted, a lot of that pathos is undercut by the fact that almost all of Chris's tragedies are self-inflicted. But hey. Stupidity-induced psychodrama is still psychodrama.

They're an experimental harsh noise band. Pretty interesting how BLARMS gives Chris sensory overload, but harsh noise music doesn't.

Chris's art actually fits pretty well. It has a nice low-budget black metal vibe.
The sheer post-modern irony of getting Christian Weston Chandler to make the album art of an experimental noise 'band' from Japan should be able to power Tokyo from mere brilliance.

I'll admit that's weird.
With his 'my mind is blank' artwork and this one, maybe Chris finally found a kind of abstract genre where his style actually works out.
Damn wouldn't it be kind of cool to see Chris soar to the top of avant-garde arts?
Also top notch bringing up MLP shit in a post about making the cover art for a japanese band.
Otherwise I might have been genuinely impressed, but with that childish sentence thrown in I fortunately don't have to deal with that.
