I love the special attention he paid to make sure the arms were flesh-colored.

He states in the auction listing that they are repainted Sonic amiibos (the irony of him literally stating that it's a Sonic recolor are lost on him here) and will function as a Sonic amiibo if you use it in Super Smash Bros. Sonic amiibos seem to always be in stock as he isn't a highly sought after figure, I'd imagine he's doing the local GameStop/Wal-Mart a favor by taking a few of them off of their hands.
That one is pretty crappy in its own way. The figure is modded pretty well, but in my opinion the bizarre "HANDMADE ORIGINAL" backing of Chris' trumps the bad MS Paint hack job of this one.

I have no idea what an Amiibo is, but I'd buy one just as a novelty if he comes down on the price.

, I didn't even notice he had done that. So... somewhere out there is just a stash of ass-less Pikachu amiibos? That's kind of disturbing. Also, at a minimum $26 (plus tax) cost per figurine, he's not making as much off of each one of these sold as he was with the medallions.
I just read the description and he says he'll send the figure completely clear...unless you ask for him to level the character up to max with all the in game money and stuff.

The $80 one is way better yet, much like Chris's, not worth the money.
So, he took an official Sonic the Hedgehog figurine and altered its color. But he didn't change the arms, so I guess it's OK.

I still can't decide who's the bigger idiot; Chris or the people buying his repainted 500% marked up shit... Does anyone have the means or intention to see if he's paid income taxes on his Sonichu merch? If EBay hasn't notified the IRS, I'm sure some ween will.
Did he break the arms and then re-position them? The arms look weird. Like he repainted them poorly but there'd be no point in doing that since the original model for amiibo Sonic has flesh color arms. I don't know what is going on with this thing. I can't find an amiibo Sonic in this pose so did he use a Sonic action figure and then just put the chip in the pedestal at the bottom?
