Wonder why Etsy would remove the donation button from Chris Chandler's page, one of the most reliable, loving, caring, beautiful people on the planet, and someone who desperately needs all the money he can get.

Thank God, I was wondering how I was going to donate.
I have to wonder how many donations Chris is actually getting. It can't be much. With the etsy donations at least Chris offered a product in return. He's offering no such thing for YouTube. I can't imagine he will get more than the occasional dollar or two.
My guess is he will make a ebegging video again soon. From the sounds of it, big bills came in and now people are demanding refunds. The chandlers are in quite the pickle.

So instead of addressing his many (and now very well documented) failures to fulfill Esty orders, he's been looking for new ways for people to donate to his Lego and Barb's potassium fund.

We see a different and darker Chris. Brought on by the dark realization of his financial status, Chris' primary motivation is money. In typical Chris fashion we see he is still too lazy to hop off the tugboat, but his rampant consumption of toys and lack of employment is beginning to back him into a corner. What was Chris going to do without money to keep his lifestyle afloat?
Enter us. We meddled. Chris in a Pavlovian fashion has learned that we will give him money to keep him going with his stupid antics. He can just get free money from us by simply waiting. At this point Chris knows how to get free funding. I am interested to see how this plays out.
Either Chris is gonna give or we are. Whatever happens I'm gonna watch it burn.

This just says so much about his complete apathy towards everything. He can barely put any effort into making a video begging for money, and follows it up by making zero effort to ensure that the means for people to throw free money at him even exists anymore. The Etsy donations option disappeared such a long time ago (in Internet time) that it's old news here. Did he seriously not even notice that it was gone until people pointed it out to him during the live stream?

Has donating really been a major source of income for him or was money coming from people buying product that will never exist? He's been merging the two for so long he didn't even realize the etsy button was missing until now.

I think it has more to do with him becoming too lazy to make those shitty medallions, so he is putting more effort in advertising about donations hoping people would forget about buying things. You KNOW it must have worked on somebody by now too.
