Pretty much this. Considering he sells these things for $41 each, and he has to carve up a Sonichu and a Pikachu Amiibo for their parts, that takes on average about $30 or of his profit. Add on what eBay takes about 10% commision, including shipping, so that's another $5 shaved off. So that leaves about $5 left... but then you add on printing cost for the backboard, crayola fucking model magic, acrylic paints, glue...It looks like she sold at least 7 of the Sonichu Amiibos. Probably didn't make a profit but who cares, sell 10 more right? It's not even about selling a product, Chris wants Sonichu to be part of Smash Bros in some way.
No point in me getting one as I don't have a WiiU, but I wouldn't mind seeing one in person.
There's a Vidya exhibition nearby me in Edinburgh, there's got to be one of them there..... right?
This jumped out at me. If Chris is telling the truth, I'm wondering if this could be the start of a more positive trend for him.
And that is a very big "if". Chris' notion of what constitutes "heavy lifting" is well-known.
I'm also cautiously optimistic about him being more productive in general, although I've felt this way before in the past.

For the average person, these aren't significant changes, but for Chris, this is a major improvement.
- He's actually getting out and socializing
- He's making an effort to clean up the outside of 14 Branchland Court
Again, good for him.

Barb's making him clean up, of course. This is a lot less bitching than we'd usually hear about manual labor though. That's encouraging. This jumped out at me. If Chris is telling the truth, I'm wondering if this could be the start of a more positive trend for him.
