As unclean as it makes me feel I disagree. One of the reasons welfare exists is to take care of individuals who are too ill or too stupid to fend for themselves. As much of a hateful prick as Phil is he fits into the latter category.

Still, it explains why he gets upset about able-bodied people taking up priority seating on the trains. Not because he cares about seniors or actual disabled people getting a seat on the train, but because HE wants a spot on the train and would rather guilt/bully people out of a spot than sit in normal seating, or stand.
