So wait; he was originally selling two pieces of "art" nobody cared about for $500 ($1,000 before discounts) and now he's willing to give away ALL the comics (I'm assuming re-printed versions) autographed for $500?

I'm amazed he revised his Patreon reward tiers. But assuming that he comics he's giving away will need to be color copied, bound in a binder, and shipped to the patron, I don't think he'll see very much money from the 20 dollar tier.

Edit: FedEx/Kinkos charges 11 cents per page for up to a hundred pages. Sonichu 0 is 45 pages long meaning that it'll cost him $4.95 plus tax to print them. However his later books up to Sonichu 10 exceeded 100 pages, meaning that it's going to cost him $11.00 just to print them. Even if he didn't bind them, shipping the pages with a flat rate envelope is going to cost him $6.95. This means that shipping the Sonichu 0 book is going to cost him $11.90 plus tax. Needless to say, he'll need to rethink his reward tiers.

I feel bad for the Kiwi who has to stump up the money to be able to leak the pages for everyone else. For one, he has to pay Chris ten dollars a month and two, he's going to receive nothing but criticism from the people he's giving the content to on here, for giving Chris money.

It's smart for Chris to do something that actually forces people to take an interest in his Patreon. Before, his lack of goals made it difficult to convince anyone to spend money on it but with these offers, he might get a few bites.

Most interesting is his 20 dollar donation tier rewards. Just before it's brought up several times, Patreon do literally nothing to anybody who breaks their rules, even if they never follow through with their promises. This is a good thing for Chris because sure he might send a comic or two during the first month but after a while he's going to forget and these people are going to be able to do nothing to get their money back.
