TBH, I really have no idea why Chris would put off playing Pokemon Go.
Bringing Pokemon into into the real world has been his dream for years.
He tried to pitch a "Pokeball controller" that "has ports for all Nintendo cartridges, reads your data, and projects a hologram of your Pokemon, allowing you to battle others."
Is he really too fat and lazy to walk?

This is like a toddler playing pretend that they're an adult with cares and responsibilities.

Chris' troubles are the equivalent of a five year old being worried about taxes. It's something ethereal that he can't comprehend but manages to work himself up about to seem mature.

The other thing is, he would need to walk and I think he is scared of actually meeting people outside, it's a bit sad that when given the ability to do so he still rejects it because of "boo hoo mah autism" Also he doesn't have to walk a lot he can catch a Snorlax at home (though she looks more like a Munchlax now do to how thin she is)

I actually, for a moment, held out some hope that this might be what got Chris to have a more active lifestyle. A Pokemon game that pretty much forces you to wander around to play it properly ( which is what the main games do anyway, you're just wandering around)

I really should have guessed that Chris wouldn't step up to......taking a daily stroll, even for his beloved Pokemon.

That's how you can tell how badly out of shape he is. He won't even go for a fucking walk.
