I, Christine Weston Chandler, past name, Christian Weston Chandler, Creator of Sonichu and Rosechu, was personally one of the lucky winners to be the first to receive a US Promo #24 ______'s Pikachu holographic card, in my mailbox on January 29, 2001, as personally written in the back of the Winner slip received with the card (viewable in the photo). This auction is for not only the card, itself, but also the History, with the Winner slip, as well as my personally written cards. Two card sleeves (one of which with taped slips with my name, birthdate, and a star), and a hard plastic card case, as shown in the photos.

A Real Collectible not only for the Pokemon card game, but also a Memorabilia of myself, Sonichu and Rosechu's Creator. The value of this card And documents kept together will surely rise in value in Years later to come.

It will all be shipped together in a bubble envelope after successful payment receipt.

Thank you.

Average price of these hovers around $10 and that's if they've been in laminate envelopes and are in pristine condition. I bet Chris's is covered in Chris grease and dust.

ETA: oops, kind of late. @Hollywood Hulk Hogan already posted this.

But here's a specific example, just to add some value to the post.

Particularly, the complete set with every single one of these cards at $229.

Lizard boobs. Your argument is invalid.

I wonder if the reason he's selling something personal like this (instead of all that other junk he has laying around that he never touches) is because he finds the card valuable. In his mind if he thinks it's valuable, it should be easy to sell. He can't see value in anything from the various hordes, since those are just part of the house to him.
Heck, he probably thinks that selling this card is an act of heroic sacrifice, and will probably bring it up at every opportunity.

But at this point the only reason to buy the card would be to extract Chris DNA from it. Any value it might have once had as a collector's item is shot... not that it had much to begin with. The slime-free mint condition kind are selling for about 10-15 bucks in several places online. $25, if you don't shop around.

The fact that Chris's disgusting hands have been all over that card makes its value null and void.
The card itself is probably swimming in fossilized gametes and microscopic Dorito dust!
I am proud of Chris, the first time in a long time I have actually felt that way about him, but he has to go and ruin it with the advertisement.

Some ween will buy it and wait for Chris to die and after Chris is dead, said person will feel ridiculous.
There is no history behind the card, all Chris did was get it in the mail, toss it in the hoard, and forget about it until a moment like this.
