I have to ask, is there any evidence that Chris is actually transgender? I'm all for him being more accepting of gay folks but being transgender is a really shitty thing to lie about.

Huh... i am honestly not surprised, i knew that he would attend to a pride festival really soon, i am also not surprised that he had a good time there and that he didn't fucked up anything (or at least, nothing that we know of). Though, i still want to say that i still believe he's still a homophobe and will (probably) never change his opinion on the matter, but, i do believe that he's willing to ignore gay dudes and even support them simply because deep down inside him, he knows that gay dudes don't affect him at all, so, yeah... i would have been surprised if he had fucked something up really fast.

It's weird, i always wanted to see an update like this, and now that it really happens, i am just not surprised whatsoever... good for him, i guess.

P.S. I still chuckle at the fact that he wants to bend reality a bit by changing the point of LGBT pride festivals, and by changing the meaning of the word gay, it's so childish that i wonder if people actually take him seriously.

I was and still am deeply skeptical of him coming out as transgender, but honestly if this makes him happy and the people in that community accept him good for Chris. Complete social isolation isn't something I wish on anyone and honestly I feel like that's how Lolcows are created in the first place.

LOL, no. He is not transgender in the way this term is used in medical science. What he is is a man who due to untreated autism and lack of integration with human civilization has developed an overly strong identification with the opposite gender.

No, there's no evidence to support he's transgender. Just using the term for his own reasons. At least Chris went to the Pride parade/festival. I was skeptical of him showing up to one. It sucks that possibly no one knew him and couldn't offer us a field report. Let's just hope someone or two recognized Chris there.

We don't really know if he is "accepted" or merely tolerated by that people. In my opinion it is good that Chris tries to seek more interaction with open minded people, but its not really difficult to be part of the LGBT community since acceptation is their main goal.

I don't mean to sound like but as of late, I feel like OPL looks and sounds a lot happier than he usually is. However dubious his commitment to the L_BT community is, he seems a lot more upbeat ever since proclaiming his allegiance to it. I find that weirdly heartwarming in a way just because all of his Facebook posts beforehand had him sounding really miserable and down on life.
