Alright so a while back a third Fear Effect game called Sedna was confirmed to be in the works, but I'm making a thread here because a remake of the first is coming out.
It looks banging.
For context: Fear Effect is a series of RE-type tank controlling horror games, released for PS1 in the late 90s/early 2000s. In short, they were really creepy, really weird and really good.
The first is like 4 DVDs long but most of it is for pre-rendered backgrounds and the cutscenes. You play as three mercs you'll either love or love to hate, called Hana, Glas and Deke, who essentially kidnap the daughter of the Triad leader. Things take a dark turn and shit gets fucked to say the least.
The second game I never played and don't know much about, except that it got very OTT with the fanservice. The first game still has its moments, but mostly for comedy like this gem right here:
