Featured Posts Shortcut - Suggestion

[Traditional Tet]

Hi, first thread I've created.
Whenever I see a new featured thread, 90℅ of the time the new update will be hundreds of pages through the thread. This means I have no idea what the update is, without spending days of reading.
Solution? Link in the featured thread bar to the page where the big event has happened, e.g. Currently Terry's death which I'd like to read about but have no hope of finding the relevant recent section.

If the post in the featured box is quoted, just click the up arrow next to the name and it will take you to the post.
For the current feature, you'd click on the arrow here "LordKaT said: ↑".
