The Idea Guys made Chris fucking boring. They did some funny shit like convincing him that Ted Bundy is innocent, and getting him to put Bundy in the comic, and when they made him buttfuck Sonichu. But now with the daily obsession with the merge and roleplaying as Sonichu, he's so disconnected from reality that it's not as funny. I don't mean like "it's too sad to be funny", I mean it's just not that humorous. He was way funnier when his delusions were more grounded, like that he was a successful comic artist, that he was sexting Vanessa Hudgens, that it was totally normal for a man to wear a bra, or that he's a woman.

They're still selling the medallions on etsy and besides maybe making their Instagram accounts private if they weren't beforehand, haven't decided to completely nuke their online presence.

Ruin the fun? Dude, the existence of groups like the Idea Guys and now these new chucklefucks are the ones ruining the fun. Making a mentally unwell man dance for their amusement while stealing his money? It's like that ice bucket challenge incident where a bunch of asshats tricked an autistic kid into getting raw sewage dumped on his head.

Chris is at his absolute best when he can't rely on external guidance - this is what he secretly craves, of course, he wants another party to guide him but only because that means taking out his responsibility of making decisions. Just tell him what he wants to hear and he'll happily obey because he has the mindset of a child who just wants to get shit over with so he can play.

Just look at the entire End Games situation. That entire scenario was not controlled by a bunch of morons thinking they're some autistic illuminati. It was Chris having to deal with his own desires being rejected by normal society and as always he does the absolute dumbest shit in retaliation. Same with the entire blue arms debacle - it was such a simple concept of turning Sonic's arms blue but nobody thought such a minor alteration (especially one that was originally intended for the OG Sonic but was not implemented due to the Sega Genesis graphics not being advanced enough to prevent the blue arms from disappearing into the blue body) would send Chris into one of his longest running grudges that included product vandalization and even him finally getting arrested for something.

No, Chris did sell medallions years ago on eBay, so he had achieved the 'Sonichu Franchise makes money' aspect on his own.

The problem is that his work ethic is non-existent and he always will hit the wall where once you turn something you enjoy into your job, unless you have good management and work ethic, it stops being fun.

It happened with the comics, it happened with the Amiibos, it happened with the medallions, it's happened with everything that did make Chris money that required him to actually produce product and not sell off old shit.

In all honesty if these people were getting him to produce videos like the Old Guard did my view of them would be a little more charitable. Even the Idea Guys got him to at least do that much. Now he just rages like a Schizophrenic on Twitter and while him forgetting what certain words mean and using them anyway is funny sometimes, after a while it gets boring.

In order for Chris to actually be funny he needs a nemesis and something that actually motivates him to even have the energy to stand up to something in his own way or alternatively someone has to have something Chris wants and dangle it in front of him (like his PSN account or the CWCipedia for example, not just a gf). Chris has more or less found a way to brush off the trolls and is a little smarter about security and he has no need for romance when he can fuck Cunt Nugget in Ponyville. What would make Chris return to his classic state would be a huge change to a franchise again like MLP that he loves so much and it's kind of starting to be with the new generation of MLP.
