Yeah I'm almost certain you're right. I think the sound I was hearing in video one was a reload. Either way, it seems as if he picked close targets first, and moved out, which is pretty standard in infantry training in most armies, so it does seem like he was a soldier.
It also doesn't really matter as much as people seem to think, in terms of the sheer carnage he can cause, whether he has semi or select fire weapon. The later is there mainly for suppression. The Christchurch fag had a semi-auto of the same caliber and mag capacity this guy has. That video speaks for itself.
Would be interesting to see the fallout from this if the weapon is RTA property.
