This got posted yesterday and generated quite the discussion. Here are some posts that I think sum up the, for lack of a better term, TERF view on transgenderism.

Yours is a good point well made. I sure had a moment there but even though I rage against trannies I'm definitely not throwing in my lot with the TERFs. Both are fucking annoying but while one is sort of like a buzzing noise the other's constantly five seconds away from raping little girls in bathroom stalls so as someone who has her priorities straight, I know who to throw most of my vitriol at.

It's kind of a shame actually, that there's no real "fuck everyone" camp, or at least if there is, I don't know of its existence. I'd like to believe that the second the troons have been eradicated the TERFs will shut up as well but that's probably reaching for the stars.

Anyway, the tranny sideshow is a great thread, and laughing at troons feels good.

Because Im pretty sure its not the female population that has boundary and entitlement issues when its not us making up the majority of rape and child sex abuse cases as well as other male dominated crime. The "lying" in question was someone claiming that troons have some more feminine characteristics, such as entitlement issues. Have you seen the average Western woman? The word "Karen" comes to mind when you see how many of them act. As for boundary issues: look up any "crazy ex-gf" story.
That isn't to say that men don't suffer from these issues, as having no boundaries and a sense of entitlement is (unfortunately) common throughout Western society. But your misandry (cringe word, I know) is doing nothing to further the conversation. Please, rant elsewhere.

But there is still differences between the sexes, whether good or bad. I agree that women are not the same physically as men, and agree that standards shouldn't be lowered just so women can participate in jobs (such as military, firefighters, etc). And at the same time, a lot of women don't realize why there is a huge lack of female CEOs is because of the pressure, work hours, and devoting your life to your position, lacking everything else.

I think psychological differences between the sexes gets neglected as an issue and that's unfortunate.

I mean, it's a minefield because distinguishing between actual differences and stereotypes is something that nefarious parties will try to exploit. Feminists will try to claim there are zero psychological differences between the sexes and that it's all harmful societal stereotypes. On the other hand, some conservatives will claim that there are profound psychological differences between the sexes and that biology is destiny. I don't think either is 100% true though.

To be fair, it's impossible to do a double blind study and isolate people to test nature vs nurture in sex. Still, I think it's a pretty bold claim that while everyone agrees that sex has significant influence on every other part of the body, somehow it skips the mind. (And yet feminists accept the existence of male violence that's present in every society that has ever existed ever, including pre-literate cultures, except no, it has nothing to do with biology and that's sexist to even suggest.)

But of course, conservatives will take this idea too far and mistreat gender non-conforming children, which is really shitty and bad for society too.

The truth is probably in the middle; that sex and nature has at least some influence on the mind, but since the mind is incredibly flexible, culture and stereotypes probably own a big chunk of responsibility as well.

Earlier in the year I wrote a post in the tranny thread about men and women having different emotional needs. (Again, not 100% guaranteed, but the trends exist and they probably do have some legitimate biological causes.)

A society that pretends that there are zero psychological differences between males and females, one that believes you can just "teach men not to rape/assault/murder" and that's 100% of the problem of male violence, is in for a rough time. (Which is not the same thing as believing that society can benefit at least partially from men being taught better.)

Me and my fellow rightists' main problem with the thread rn is that we are all coming to it to have fun and clown on an aspect of the left that we can't joke about anywhere else. Look, I'm going to have to take a hard disagree on that. The reason we think it's unimportant isn't that we discount you're experiences - it's just that most terfs/progressive women/whatever seem to be willfully blind as to the root causes and larger context of the
current trans epidemic, and view it as problematic *only* due to a TIM once wanting to go into woman's restroom at a Target they happened to be at as well.

I'm not a "hurr durr repeal the 19th" chud but it's undeniable that the mainstreaming of troonery is a direct consequence of the sexual revolution and elevating personal autonomy to the one and only standard by which sexual conduct is judged. Most of the terfs etc. on here gush over how awesome effeminate gay guy X is on show Y and how hot it would be if he hooks up with drag queen Z, but then expect the rest of the world to draw the line at trannies exactly where they do ("You're a backwards fundie if you think Aiden can't wear a dress, but a rape-enabler if you refer to him as her ") and are shocked when they don't.
