And women love children. Your move, S-Lax.video games are for children anyway
If you choose to rely on stats, be my guest. I dont research stats. I know they can say anything someone needs them to say. Have you never come across stats in direct conflict with each other, and both citing seemingly credible sources? Are you young? I have seen it time and time and time again.
Again, best of luck. I have no power in games. Email your stats to those who do.
Why are you spouting data like it's factual if you don't do stats?

What data have i spouted? Why are you spouting data like it's factual if you don't do stats?
What data have i spouted?
Uh huh.You don't know how arguments work, do you?
Hey, so that's where Dex went.
Uh huh.
I didnt spout data. Sue me. If anything, i said "data" on this level is,at best, a joke.
And no, i dont have the data that contradicts any other data, as i said i dont research data. If you folks dont think data is manipulated to the end goal of manipulating you....well....not much i can do for you.
All I am going to say is women and men should be treated the same, have the same pay, and be able to play whatever video games they like. This thread is becoming ridiculous now, women play video games just as much as men, yes there should be more women in games, especially strong women who are portrayed as heroines.
Again, best of luck, blah blah money etc.
Why does everybody get so autistic about the gender of characters in vidya? If Jace can modify a game to include tons of weed and a fabulous rainbow-coloured marinedog called Soap, why can't y'all dudes and dudettes do the same? If Commander Stryker can do it, so can you!![]()
Money doesnt talk? Lololol.Another good point. Just like little boys daydreamed about finding adventure and danger, so did a lot of little girls. Video games provide a really fun way to play through these fantasies.
You keep saying to inspire change with money, but that's really simplifying it. In Uncharted 3 I play as a daring adventurer. Nathan Drake is a guy. Would I like playing as a girl in order to self inser myself in the fantasy better? Sure. Will I not buy Uncharted 3 because it has a male protagonist? No. It's a fun game.
So, using the whole "buy the right games" logic, by buying Uncharted 3, I've basically sent the message "Yes, more adventurer guys. No girls". And like others have said; what if there's no option for what I would like? You make due with what's out there.
Sending a message with money only goes so far because of the way the industry is set up. Like Trickie said, it's an industry that's been very slow to change.
