I feel like this milestone needs commemorating, even if Chris himself doesn't do it.

On March 17, 2000, fifteen years ago today, everyone's favorite yellow abomination came into the world. Happy anniversary, Sonichu. Who knows what kind of suffering could've been averted if that teacher just let Chris use copyrighted characters.

You know I think if Sonichu had been created any other time that 15 years would have given us even more hilarity in that it would be horribly dated with its references and style...but ya know at least 2004 (when he started making full comics) isn't that different than now. Kids still like Sonic and Pokeymanz, Animu is still big, Family Guy is still on, fashion isn't wildly different, music isn't wildly different than it is now, so in a way as of right now the Sonichu comics don't seem nearly as old as they actually are.

Yes. Sonichu was 15 in Issue 0, made in 2005, and he was 18 in Issue 8, made in 2008. Partially because three years had passed, but mostly just so Chris could draw him making da hanky-panky without being a pedofork.

I guess Sonichu's 25 now.

I feel you, it must've been a unique experience keeping up with (exagerrated/untrue versions of) Chris's antics in comic form pretty much as they happened.

Edit: I mean probably more like a year after, but still...

Maybe he'll think there is a market for his Singaporean bootleg creation and make more comics. I honestly do hope. I want to see how he's changed, even in terms of his most recent experiences.

If anything, he actually has inspired a "universe" that people work in.
