On the one side, sweet no Smash at EVO to promote match colluding and child diddling. On the other side, even if I didn't watch it, it takes off a bit of the prestige of EVO. It was supposed to be a showcase of fighting game's best, even if it wasn't necessarily the largest event for that specific game, like Tekken World Tour, Genesis, or Capcom Pro Tour for example. Probably just more examples of the soul getting sucked out of the FGC and further proof of what we've lost.
