Working on a Deagle Nation surfer-stoner character named Paul Bunker actually. I've maybe even attempted surfing once in my life and Texas isn't known for sick waves, but I figured with summer coming up I'll be going to the beach a fair amount anyway. Going to have his own segment called 'Shore to Shore' where he literally talks about surfing from one shore to another and may even have him try to rationalize surfing as an effective combat style for the Coast Guard, Navy and Marines and in any subsequent missions he'll offer 'Ambiguous Assault' if you guys think that's funny. I get paid Wednesday, going to go buy some threads for him then hopefully.

Fucking hilarious. My character is Jordans4Cheap, a bay area stoner who tries to sell bootleg Nikes. He's also an animal expert, yet not legally allowed to own any pets for undisclosed reasons. He's a pretty chill dude, but piss him off and you're in for some serious verbal threats.
I hadn't thought about making any videos, but that's a really funny idea. I might have to get in on that.

I'll reactivate my character I had come up with for the DN forums shortly before the "incident." He's a delusional wanna-be marijuana farmer trying to cash in on Colorado's legalized reefer. He has had no success because he doesn't understand lighting or fertilizers and ends up smoking what little product he manages to grow. He also fancies himself a computer hacker despite an almost total lack of computer abilities, is prone to conspiracy theories, and a whole host of delusions about himself. I'm basing him on someone I used to know so I have plenty of source material.

You're probably right. I was imagining dozens of Homer Beoulves and Reuben Barons calling into Fact Zone and spilling spaghetti everywhere. But they'd probably just ignore you now that I think about it. I'll leave this stuff to the pros.

I think I came up with an idea that everyone can get in on that'll work over well for manipulating the clueless joes outside the bunker.
Do the Dirty Potter method and edit together words spoken by Jace into new sentences and make some fun new ones, then either insert it over badly done footage of a camera filming a monitor or over random places in MA. Maybe even use it to make a Jim Dale'd version of Tiberius Rising so there's something for the Jace character to get mad about when the hiatus ends.

Also calling Hammerman47 for my DN character, he's a white guy who pretends to be black and constantly denies his fear of indoor pools while trying to say he was an engineer in Afghanistan.

So I brainstormed at work and elsewhere today and talked to a buddy of mine on the phone last night: Going to add to his 'back-story' that he is Tyce's cousin but doesn't approve of Tyce's lifestyle choices and he fully supports the commander and even knew him pretty well. Complete Story might cause us to run into some holes but we could explain away that Jace simply forgot about Paul or something like that? Paul dropped off the radar to try and join the Navy but couldn't pass basic training because he's too skinny and smokes too much. I have a buddy of mine willing to play an actual Surfer who insults him from time to time causing him to chimp out. Paul drinks the Dew and eats Doritos/Cheez-Its for the 'Gamer Lifestyle', but another trademark is going to be Funyuns and Hawaiian Punch for the 'Surfer Lifestyle' (also because I just don't like Mountain Dew all that much). If it ever gets back into full swing I want to have him try to 'Surf to Syria' to fight ISIS or something, only to have him rescued by Coast Guard after being stranded at sea for several days (not actually of course). Finally the whole point of the name 'Shore to Shore' is a parody of 'Coast to Coast' so I'd like to eventually do a conspiracy nut segment with the same name but unrelated to surfing. Any of this worth throwing in?

@MACH-IV there's a burnt down house in my neighborhood I could see us doing a twitter drama thing about. I ask for Pet Advice on Iguanas and you tell me to turn the heating lamps way up and leave them on at all times. I do so and it burns my house down, we have a twitter fight.

I'm tempted to do a crazy canuck character who thinks that Canada needs a constitution and 2nd amendment; a trailer-park living, David Icke-styled anti-monarchist, born-again, home-schooled social reject and hobby pot grower as a primary character. I might take this character in the direction of an Eli-esque Canadian neo-pagan character who is obsessed with First Nations and Indigenous Americans, and tries to claim to be one, while being completely ignorant and offensive in a new-age pagan kind of interpretation. It's a subject I know a lot about, and could easily hype up the unintentional racism angle.

The two other extant characters are fairly generic unemployed and incompetent gamers/stoners who have yet to 'discover' Deagle Nation. I'm hoping they can play vocal new recruits and really serve to spread the Deagle Nation content in the future, while taking this time to infiltrate various weed and hiphop forums and weave a twitter circle. They're admittedly less interesting, but can help 'populate' the ruse cruise with identifiable faces. Their presence will also serve to see the return of Jace Connors as a prosperous new era of Deagle Nation. They're flexible and don't take much effort.

Hank Bufkus is Jace's obsessive number-one borderline-stalker fan: he is a former homosexual who had successfully "recovered from Islam" after discovering Deagle Nation's spiritually Christian power of gaming, Mtn Dew, Doritos, wolves, and Our Lord and Saviour. Since we all know how well de-Islaming yourself works, it naturally keeps showing itself from time-to-time in comical fashion.

He virtulently opposes anyone who says Deagle Nation was a fraud because disrespecting The Commander is anathema to the one man he credits for his recovery, and has concocted wild (yet plausible) explanations for both Jace's absence and the supposed "incident" where Jace was revealed as fake. His current theory was that Jace's lawyer found no way out of the "Gamergate assasination attempt" except to fake it: present yourself on camera and the media as a performance artist so that the police would overlook his driving and wrecking a car without a licence. He can make a video providing "compelling evidence", which could also serve to reinforce the idea that Jace is real.

In general he acts like an insufferable wannabe #1 fan and feels indebted to Jace for crushing his sinful Islamic urges. Jace can either like him obliviously for being a good fan or hate him because he's a fucking obsessive spastic who borderline-stalks him. Or anything else you'd want to roll with.

If this is a completely shitty idea, I'm willing to end it before it starts.
