A question does come to mind - which community is worse? I know little about Asmofag save for a few clips, I don't know what his fans are like but I know hardcore streamer fans are faggots no matter what arena of the internet you reside in. We all know what kind of retardation is in the XIV community. Half of it is okay, but the other half is like we discussed before - FFXIV community is filled with fags that treat it like Twitter, especially trannies who aren't afraid to mash the report button for wrong think.

Is the WoW community the same? I never really played WoW, I tried it years ago and I didn't think it was a bad game, I just preferred FF gameplay and visuals, so I'm not sure if WoW's community is as shit as FFXIV?

WoW's community are typically toxic shitheads on all levels. If you play WoW and make a perceived mistake in say, a level 10-19 battleground, there's a very real chance you're going to get dogpiled and berated for it nonstop. The keyword is "perceived" because it's not usually based in reality but it doesn't matter. It's uncommon (but does happen) where someone will make an ALT just to whisper you and still call you a piece of shit and then will look up your armory and try and find your ALTs and whisper you there, too. WoW's community would be best described as "the closest thing to 2008 Xbox Live Chat" that exists in 2021. It's obviously not always the case, but it happens enough where WoW players have an expectation of encountering toxicity in most facets of the game.

Asmon's chat is pretty much the distilled embodiment of that mindset - there are other WoW content creators that have reached out to Asmon and asked him point blank "Can you not show our videos on your stream, your fans are too chaotic and we'd rather not have the stress of dealing with them".

I grew up with Counterstrike/Half-life DM before steam. I think i'd rather deal with WoW's community. At least I can laugh at that. The trannies who report people at the drop of a hat can have your account suspended or even deleted on a whim. The guy who calls you a faggot can only spam and PK you.

Most of the community NN is a good example of this behavior. If you say something they don't like then the NN princess will ridicule you, and probably try to kick you. You know the one. Every server has one. Leviathan's is Garu Dyne.

The only thing I can think to say to that is "Who the fuck takes the Novice Network seriously?"

Most people disregard NN because it takes a very specific brand of sycophantic autism to treat it like it has any credence, especially being an active user in the NN.

I never even unlocked novice network. Whenever I see someone with a mentor status, there's a 50/50 chance that person is pants on head retarded. Mentor status and has all 80s? Safer to assume that they're about as useful as tits on a boar. I had considered some time ago when I played more often on hitting up the novice network, but I already knew how shit the community was and chose to avoid it. Others who tried it confirmed my suspicions. Most of the mentors are clueless or flat out refuse to assist and are only after the mount, and the mentors that do like to help are usually talking to the brick walls that make up most of the newbies.

What I'm baffled by is the fact that you're playing on a Crystal server that's apparently populated enough to have character creation restricted (at the time of my posting this), yet is somehow, by your own admission, socially sparse that it avoids the bullshit most of the playerbase tends to drum up.

Also I'm baffled by the fact that you play on the most notorious DC and yet you somehow do not experience even a smidgen of this bullshit.

And now it makes me miss the days back when Coeurl was the bland, boring, "nobody plays there" server and didn't suffer from the cancer either.

I'd assume its because no one goes directly to Goblin to shitstir. Why do that when you can be amongst 'your peers' by constantly gravitating to Balmung or Mateus to stand around in the furnace of madness that is the city-state shout chats and CWLSes?
