Like people have said elsewhere on this site, WoW players, especially longtime WoW players, have a serious case of battered wife syndrome in that they'll always go back to the game for at least a couple of months with any new update. Anytime they hop to another online game that requires an investment of time, it's just because they've probably gotten to the point where they have nothing left to do but raidlog and are waiting for the next update.

Ahh yes the great story of turning in loads of goodies.. so the NPCs can fight once while the server crashes then buzzes off. I wonder how they'd react to hearing about the Ishgard rebuilding work and the actual cross-server race to finish it first that was done many, many times over.Jesus christ, some WoW players man. I got told by someone today that FFXIV's method of storytelling is bad, and the Ahn'Qiraj war effort is a better way of telling a story through an MMO.
as a rogue raiding Blackwing Lair. Maybe she is bullshitting, because throughout playing usually females play night elf/blood elf hunters or priests maybe paladins but I have known one that played as a gnome rogue and she's some crazy ass radfem that ran a guild into the ground.
Is there anyone within the XIV content creation sphere who's truly suitable to act as an "ambassador" for the game?
I don't know too much about herAin't she in her early 30's and probably already married? She bragged about playing oldschool classic
career past that she played and did some raiding during her time. I watched a couple of videos when she started actively playing XIV (I think around E8S) and she talked about her whole thing of why WoW players should move to XIV etc etc.To me if I had to pick someone I'd rather pick people who do play both or have experience with older WoW since they can better understand what the WoW people are talking about. The problem is i think the majority of people I know either only started playing WoW because they were done with XIV content for now or are just not doing anything outside of XIV.
