:pickle: How many people here are, gay, lesbian, bi, trans, etc.? And how did you find out, what were your experiences, and do your parents know?
I'm a 22 year old Bisexual man, I found out when I was 13 or 14, when my hormones kicked in, but I never accepted it until I was 18 sadly. When I first had these feelings, I was Sooooo scared that I was going to hell, I went to a church school, and had a crush on an older student, friend of mine, it was like 6th grade, he was in 8th. Most of my friends know, that I like men, and want a boyfriend, but my parents don't. I was bullied ALOT, in middle school, good thing none of my classmates knew this. What are your stories? :pickle:

I think everyone knows my story by now.

Although, KatsuKitty of Northeastern PA, IS NOT A GODDAMNED HOMO. He is 50% STRAIGHT!! He gets hard at Men and Women and vomits at NOBODY!!

In all seriousness, I used to identify as 96% gay but recent experience kind of lowered that number a bit.

I don't think my orientation is any secret by now. Technically I'm bisexual in that I'd date both guys and girls, as long as I'm attracted to the person, but in terms of physical attraction I'd say there's definitely a preference for men. (who'd have guessed?!) and I can't really see myself dating women either. There has been a girl I've been romantically interested in, but even then I couldn't picture myself in a sexual relationship with her. It's all a bit of a weird situation.

I realized I liked men when I was 14 but didn't accept it until I was about 18 as well. I was pretty well liked in middle and high school, but I wasn't open (if I was, I'd be ten times more popular). I like women a lot more and want to get married and have a family some day with a woman, but I'm open to dating other guys and I wouldn't mind if I had a deeper, longer relationship with one (stop laughing, I know deep and long are hilarious when used out of context, but please contain your laughter). I have no trouble telling new people I meet that I'm bi, but I don't want to tell my parents simply because instead of being prepared to accept me for who I am, they (or really just my mom) tried to force it on me and then say they'd accept me for being gay (it probably has something to do with her brother hating her father). I'm sure dad wouldn't care and neither would my sisters, but my brother and mother would have a field day with me.

Oh, and my parents aren't the religious types and I went to public school, so yeah, it does explain all the tolerance going on in Texas.

I'm not gay myself (100% DANG DIRTY HETERO JERK), my sister however is gay.

Which is why I can sometimes get annoyed by the likes of Xiao-Fury (and bible bashers in general) on the Lolcow board.

I'm not gay, but when I was 7 or 8 years old I was coerced by a teenage boy in my old neighborhood into having sex. I didn't know any better. I guess you could say I was raped. I'm straight, but hold no animosity towards LGBT people. I've got friends who are gay, bi, trans and everything in between. I'm pro-LGBT rights even though with my religious and some political views you wouldn't think I would be.

I'm Dunsexual :heart-full:

Okay, honestly, I really don't like labels as far as sexuality goes because it encourages conformity (and causes stress if you don't quite conform or fit in with even your own community) and people to define themselves that way honestly? Just like what you like. Sometimes I wish people would just forget about labels, even though I do realize that labeling does have the benefit of being able to explain to people in a simpler way. This has always been bothering me and I couldn't figure out why I didn't like gay communities and well... any community whether it be autism or whatever despite me not hating them as people themselves and I think I just figured out why, I just hate people obsessed over labels, not those of different sexual orientations themselves. Heck, even people are obsessed over the whle "geek" label in the same way and are constantly having to prove themselves that they are geeks or whether or not someone is a "true geek" and I'm like "No! You like what you like! I don't want to always feel the need I have to watch a specific show or play a specific game to improve my "geek score" I just want to like what I like in peace!"

I suppose I'm attracted both genders. I can't really see myself in a relationship with another guy though.
