FPS games are point and click games where the targets move around and you have to control the camera manually. They became to popularity with wolf 3d and then Doom took it mainstream. Has any one found any modern FPS releases that have full single player campaigns worth playing? Not faux retro boomer shooters or cinematic games with FPS in between walking simulator segments. Rogue like/lites deserve a special place in hell for taking skinner boxes and turning them into single player games instead of loot boxes fodder.
