There are three videos I consider to be some of the first things I watch on yt/online.
I remember a classmate showing me this on his PSP in 2007. I forget if PSP's had YT back then or he downloaded the video to the memory stick.
One of the first sketch comedies I had found on my own.
Another machinima/parody series I found around early 2008. For some reason back then I thought this was yt gold. Today, ehh.
I think it was videos made by "Darknessthecurse".
He was an awkward teenager who hopped on the angry reviewer bandwagon who got himself into drama every now and then.
He had a friend called "Rijno" who you might be familiar with if you watched a lot of Retsuprae's earlier stuff.
Supposedly he's still making vids, but I haven't watched anything from him in years so I don't know what exactly he's doing now.

Oh shit I used to watch him too except when I got older, I felt so bored with his shtick. Yes you're angry. But you're not stating why you are. It's why Angry Joe was losing his shiny flask so quickly.
I heard Darkness got a kid or some shit and he's gotten more.. mature? I don't know. All I know is he's not a moron as he was back in his old days and he pokes fun at his shit. Which is good.
My first videos were Naruto Ultimate Fan Flash series, these were crude stupid ass fan flash from deviant art fucking losers who probably had too much time on their hands. But they do so many stupid ass fucking flash animations and it's still cringey to this day because Naruto's over and I know that the manga has definitely changed entirely.

I hate to admit I don't remember the first YouTube video I may've seen. I think my first experiences with YT go back to around early 2006 at best. I do recall some random vids I saw at the time, often stuff people merely stuck up there back before YouTube allowed you to do videos above 240p and in stereo sound. Those were interesting times when it first started and you didn't know where it lead to.
There's probably a few more I can't think of right now, but it may come to me later.
Watching music videos. Was great before corporations came in.
