Does anyone remember this one? The Deviantartlet who claimed Shadow the emohog was her husband, was extremely hostile to anyone who was against recolors/her OC being the only possible thing to pair with Shadow? If so, does anyone know where she's gone now? I can't seem to find any deviantart (or similar) accounts.

What is it with some people and claiming fictional characters to be their wives/husbands?

My theory, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that these people claiming X Character is their significant other are very sad, lonely people who spent more time watching cartoons and playing vidya growing up instead of going out and, y'know, having a life with friends and dating and now they are so socially awkward that the only way they can feel loved now is to make up imaginary worlds where their Mary Sue is bumping uglies with anthropomorphic animals. But, y'know, that may just be, like, uh...my OPINION, man.
