I don't know... on one hand I'm interested in the idea of the FNAF series as a movie, especially since the creator of the games is involved. But on the other hand I have serious doubts about if they'll be able to pull it off or not.
If I had to say one good thing about this project, it would be that at least it isn't being directed by Uwe Boll, I guess.

I think it could work if it merely showed (the mostly unseen and unheard) Mike Schmidt going through his week at the place, interspersed with 'flashbacks' of what the Purple Guy did. Kind of like a Slumdog Millionaire format. It should also be mostly, if not entirely, silent.

To be fair, the Super Mario Bros movie was bad in a good way. Yes it had a lot wrong, but it was good in a funny, I can't believe they fucked this up badly kind of way. I remember hearing there was a sequel for that Mortal Kombat movie? What was it called?

A FNAF film? At this point, one has to wonder if Scott Cawthon actually agreed to this. Even then, the only way this could work is if one made this in CGI or machinima and even then, it could end up being terrible. Perhaps it might attract more spergs and furries though, they for some reason get aroused seeing animatronics in fur-suits.
It's probably going to be god awful but as long as Scott provides his voice for phone guy I won't care.

This is one of those times where I have literally zero idea how to feel. I guess I'll just sit here setting myself up for disappointment by hoping they use actual animatronics as opposed to CG.
I'm sure if it's not CG then it's people in suits. honestly it would work better as an animated movie imo
