Yeah, lets hope that Scott holds onto the rights like J.K. Rowling instead of selling like Notch. His announcement doesn't make his plans clear in this regard. Another concern is that Scott's appointed successor might end up not abiding by his wishes, but rather those of the queer crazies orbiting FNAF. For example, I can envision virtue-signaling to trannies in some future game by suggesting that a soul of a human boy was put into a female animatronic character. It's my understanding that the upcoming big-budget game Security Breach is already more so the work of an external studio than Scott himself, and it looks fine so far, but who knows how things will go down the road.
Yeah I think this an "early retirement" I think he was going to step down after securing breach but now with this controversy I think he'll go quietly before security breach when everyone would have forgotten about it and wouldn't hurt sales.
